Welcome to ManBasics Speakeasy Barbershop, the last barbershop you will need to know about as long as you live in the Woodlands!
First and foremost, our barbers! That means in addition to cutting hair and working with you on the perfect hairstyle, we also do straight razor work. We have worked hard to put together a team of the best stylists and barbers in The Woodlands to provide unparalleled services to our clients. While some haircut places are content to hire any warm body just out of school, ManBasics Speakeasy Barbershop goes through great pains to ensure they hire only the best. Each barber and stylist “auditions” before our Master Barber before being hired, and frankly not everyone makes the cut. This extra attention is what makes us one of the best barber shops The Woodlands has to offer.
There are PLENTY of barbershops and salons in The Woodlands and Conroe that offer the same old routine. You know the one: ESPN on mute playing reruns of talk shows you can’t even hear, loud pop music, waits are longer than the music is loud, and there are likely several screaming kids. First, the look and feel of our shop is awesome. Everything is geared towards our unique “speakeasy” concept. We even having a working Victrola that we will play for guests on request.
Instead of ESPN we play classic movies like The Godfather and Hitchcock. We also feature a unique playlist of big band music that is sure to get your toes tapping.
Next, as soon as you walk into our barbershop you will be greeted by our Butler to get you checked in (or scheduled if you are a walk-in). Next, they will offer you a complimentary cocktail.
Yeah, a REAL cocktail. We aren’t slinging beer in a plastic cup (that's a slap in the face!), although we do feature two tap beers from locally owned Southern Sta Brewery (served in a real pint glass, we aren’t savages here). ManBasics specializes in the Whiskey Old Fashioned, so that’s the veteran move. We make our own simple syrup and serve our cocktails in a crystal tumbler.
Whatever style you are going for, our beauty stylists and barbers are ready to get you taken care of. We work with hairstyles, length, and texture of all kinds. Whether you have curls, layers, bangs, split ends, straight hair type we have the right stylist for you. We think of the haircut process as a conversation, so feel free to bring in pictures of the perfect style you are looking for and have a conversation with your stylist so we can get you the perfect cut.
We even do women haircuts (don't let our name fool you!).
