ManBasics hosted our Brand Launch Party and Best Beard in The Woodlands Competition on June 6th. So, of COURSE, we are selecting the winner of that competition as our June Beard of the Month.
Congratulations to Bryan Richardson who claimed the trophy with his "Gandalf the Grey" inspired epic beardness.
The competition featured a room full of more than a dozen great looking beards, but as soon as Bryan walked into GenuWine Tasting Room there was a palpable buzz that the competition winner had just arrived.
"I've been growing this for about seven years . . . and I have achieved 'wizard' status", said Richardson about his flowing white beard. "I cut off about 5 inches each year", presumably because if it was nearly three feet longer than it is now he would have a hard time not tripping over himself.
The runner up was David Bowden who claims his beard "has been brought to you by bacon grease, whiskey, and bad decisions".
2nd Runner up Sergio Montenegro made a strong case for why he deserved the award with his complete non sequitur claim "I've got about 32 chickens. I've named seven of them". ManBasics has no idea what that means, but we love it anyway.
Bryan Richardson received a kick-ass trophy to honor his beard. He was also given a three-month subscription foe ManBasics Beard Oils to keep that mane healthy and beautiful, as well as a one-month membership at Saddle River Range.
Thanks to everyone who came out to help make our launch party a huge success!
